Charging Light Info:

The 1st light, farthest from the cable is a charging light. It's shape is slightly different from the remaining 4. It will blink slowly compared to the rest. The remaining 4 bars are the battery's charge. When it's finished the charging light will remain and continue blinking.

Charging Speed up to 7.5W

Wireless Charging uses magnets as a conductor to transfer electric charge as well as using it's own charge to power itself to your phone therefore generates heat due to discharging.
