Batang fish, also known as King Mackerel, is commonly used for fish soups and otah. The flesh is meaty and firm, making it an extremely versatile ingredient to work with! Air-flown and wild-caught from Ujang Pandang daily, our batang fish can be fried, pan-fried, stir-fried or steamed!

Cut contains bones, while fillet contains much lesser, close to no, bones. Weight is indicative of bones, which explains the price difference!

Please note that weight range provided is before any descaling, de-gutting and cleaning of the fish.
